Dogechain Remembers - The Atomic Age ☢️ 🧱 The Build-A-Doge workshop set the memeconomy on Dogechain up for success. 🧑‍💻 Communities gained access to a streamlined tool for creating meme tokens in minutes, without having to learn to code or acquire advanced blockchain tech knowledge. Thanks to this, dozens of new tokens appeared in the ecosystem, with their different narratives and strong communities. 🗳 It was the perfect opportunity for the Dogechain DAO to begin its activity in the ecosystem. 🏦 The DAO, powered by the veDC model, was designed to give the community the power to govern over 29% of the total supply of $DC tokens. 🚀 This allocation has a goal to bootstrap projects, boost activity on the chain, or decide on crucial directions the project should take, among others. 🦈 The first activity, of many to come, was the “Shark Tank” DAO vote that powered the Meme Revolution on Dogechain. This vote was split into two parts: 🔹 The social contest, where community members were able to engage with meme token projects on socials. This part acted as a selection process for the second portion of the Meme Revolution. 🔹 The DAO vote, where veDC holders were able to vote for their 10 favorite meme projects. The DAO would then invest in these tokens, proportionally to the number of votes. With this move, the DAO achieved essential goals for the network: 🧑‍🤝‍🧑 Providing an appealing ecosystem for communities and project leaders to launch their tokens on Dogechain. 🏃💨 Increasing activity and transaction volume on the network. 💧 Injecting liquidity on the chain from eager LPs that want to participate in the Dogechain memeconomy. And this was just a starting point! 💪 Many more such proposals will be put forward in the future, empowering veDC holders with the control of the DAO. ♻️
